If it weren't for their looks they'd be nowhere, IMO. They can't sing OR write their own songs; they rely on autotune and people to write songs for them (pretty much like all other pop artists)

And so this post isn't just a rant... My sister's a massive fan >.>

The only song I've heard by them was "That's what makes you beautiful."

They're actually pretty good. I can't wait for their performance on the KCA's tomorrow. smile

Sorry, I really don't like songs that don't use real instruments and are auto-tuned. And I HAAAAAAAAATE pop music so much.
Also, two of my friends claim they have "One Direction Infection," just so you know I'm not just coming here to say how much I hate them tongue

Too much autotune.
Not enough sense.

Blech. It's awful.

It's just another boy band.
They act like it's a once in a million years thing.
And from what I've heard, they are normal or are slightly bad at singing. Autotune will forever ruin pop stars.

I was on Facebook, and this girl was deciding whether to go to Sea World or see One Direction. All her friends were all "omq pick one direction 4ever!!!111!"
I just cried inside. What has our generation become picking a bad boy band over freaking Sea World?

I think they're decent. They sound like Big Time Rush, IMO, but better. It's stereotypical boy band pop to me, which isn't stuff I listen to, but they're not that bad.

True, but not all families go on trips everyday.
I bet it'll be a long while until that girl can go on another trip.
I just find it sad how society's chosen a boy band over majestic animals and great entertainment.
