To make a signature you need to be a "scratcher". When you do, in your profile under personality.

First you must become a "Scratcher."
After your status turns to "Scratcher," you can go to profile > personality > then make your signature.

You can make pictures from different websites. Go to Google and search for Forum Signatures and a whole bunch of great websites show up.
