Could you post the scripts you're using? It may be simple problem like forgetting a forever block.

I am not sure but I downloaded your game and had a look the only way I could find was to make a small black line ( a new sprite ) and place it on the finish line so that you cant tell its there. then SORRY ABOUT THE RUBBISH SCRATCH BLOCKS I HAVE NEVER DONE IT    BEFORE?

change (laps) by (1)
wait 1 secs

quick question? when you hit the side bariers is the LAPS variable supposed to reset?

Oh, looks like I was too late. Here's what I have:

when I recieve [level 1]
forever
    wait until < (y position) > [-100] >
    wait until < touching color white >
    if    < (lap position) = 1 >
          change [laps] by [1]
          set [lap position] to [0]
    end
end

 set [lap positon] to [0]
