-'Frozen Coco' Needs A Female Singer-

Hey everyone, this is DIY, manager and member of Frozen Coco - The Scratch Band. We focus mainly on Pop/Altern Rock as genres, but also have ballads and various other types of songs coming up. Our main thread can be viewed here. If you like this style of music and if you are a girl, Frozen Coco gladly invites you to audition for a spot in the band!

In the past, we have had those who have been with us with no progress at all. We have decided it best to have female vocalists for three of our songs that will be released as an album of five songs somewhere in April. The album is titled Crimson Love.

If you are interested in joining us and being a part of history on Scratch (yes, we were the first working Scratch band and remain the only successful one that has been founded here), please post a recording each of you singing these three songs linked below. The recording must be of good quality and it should be sung to the right tempo of all the songs. The backing should not be heard. We're looking for mature, strong voices that will sound amazing with the backing track of instruments. Our aim is to make this album as professional as possible, so that's why we are looking for singers into their teens already, who have quite mature voices.

The songs are:

My Voice to You
When I'm Beside You
Reload

You must be a committed member who regularly visits the Scratch website. If you match all the criteria mentioned above as well, you stand a great chance of being in this amazing band!

NOTE: Please do not sing 'When I'm Beside You' as 'besides you'. That is indeed a mistake.

Hey. ^^ Now before you ask, no, I'm not a girl, so I'm not auditioning.  tongue

But, I am helping you find a new female singer by scavenging around multiple "I sing" projects. Is that alright with you?

All right!  smile

I found a singer who has a mature and strong voice, but I'm not sure if she fits the band's sound.

@ VanillaCreme: Cool! Could you upload three different projects with you singing the three songs?

Yeah, if it is of good quality. You are reminded that the backing track should not be heard in the recording (I suggest you use headphones), and it should be sung to the right tempo of the songs. hen do you think you can upload the three projects with the recordings?

Re: -'Frozen Coco' Needs A Female Singer-

I don't know if I'm going to try out, but I just wanted to say I listened to "Gone" for the first time and found it very nice.

All your songs are great, in fact. Although... I do think the lyrics need a little tweaking. I could help with that.

Gone isn't being sung by a female, so it won't be sung by our newly-elected singer.

Re: -'Frozen Coco' Needs A Female Singer-

Physically mature teenagers may still need their parents' permission for stuff  smile

Anyway, though, are there any lyricist positions available?

I don't think we want any more members flooding the band...

Re: -'Frozen Coco' Needs A Female Singer-

I just wanted to say that I think that Frozen Coco is super cool and I admire you all for doing it.  smile  Your songs are awesome and the idea is amazing. While I am both female and a teenager, my singing voice is not too great, so I don't think you want me. But good luck in your search! (If, by any strange chance, you ever need a trombonist, I'm your girl.  tongue )
