That sounds like it probably has to do with your folder settings.

Nice I'm glad to see people are making good use of Panther2EXE!

I have already attempted to make an MMO But I could never make Bingo compile correctly and still have the File management blocks work. it would always give me an error. Perhaps Panther2Exe will allow me to make an MMO work.

If you still have the project, you could save it in compatibility mode in Bingo, then open it in Panther, that way you wouldn't lose all of your work...at least, if you haven't done so already

You won't need to worry about it anymore soon
I finally figured out how to recompile the NSIS file without any errors!!! So now, it will accept .pt files!
I just need to get a few more things finished up, but I should be able to release a new version in a week or two.
So it will also attempt to compile a .exe file you give it? or can you tell it only .sb and .pt?
I'm waiting for this

CFAgency.org is my storage/not-fully-accessible-to-the-internet site which my friends and I use. It's password protected. If you know someone who uses it, you can e-mail me - gt@yon.se or PM me (if that's supported,) and tell me who they are, I'll check for them in the database.

Do have a folder named Scratch2EXE in "My Documents"?

Can you upload the runtime.image file for Panther2EXE No Buttons by itself? It isn't in the kit folder when I look for it.
this should work for now, but I'll be sure to add that back into the folder...not sure why or how it disappeared :S
EDIT: I'd recommend NOT opening it in FF...comes up as text for me.

Yes. Now, it seems to work in the normal compiler, but not the with the no buttons version.

I was planning on releasing a new version last month, but I'm having trouble recompiling the source code...without changing anything, when I compile the source, it doesn't give me any errors from the compiler, but gives me an error right after the first dialog. Once I get that figured out, I'll release it.

Were you using the normal one or the no buttons one?
EDIT: I think I figured it out! As you may have noticed from the posts above, I forgot to put the image file in the No Buttons version. If you redownload it, it should work now!

Danwoodski all that LS97's widget does is open a green and red button. When red is clicked it closes, when green clicked it becomes a box. I have a Scratch2exe folder in my documents. When I dragged my pt file into the box it Lester a couple Microsoft office apps. When I clicked green again it just became a bar like when it opened
Pleeeeeeeez respond!

After you drag the .pt file in, you have to type sb into the little text box at the bottom, and then just hit enter. The new sb file should just show up in the same folder you got the original file from.
...I think that I'll add better instructions for this on the first post, as it is rather confusing.

I'm sorry to be off topic, but what is the best free website builder to sell a panther game?
Yola, Wix, and Weebly all have good builders, 000webhost is good if you want to code it yourself.

dan, this is really great, but I think having to open the file again into your Panther just to change its extension is a bit excessive.
Might users want to try my Extension Renaming Widget?
But if you're on Win 7 you don't even need this - Just put .sb on the end of your .pt project.
