Audio

What format does a sound file have to be to be imported into scratch? Can it be a garage band file? Or a iTunes song?

Your sounds need to be in either mp3 or wav format if you want to use them in Scratch. I'd recommend using wav if you can, because Scratch can be finicky with mp3's.

Im pretty sure it can be from garage band, however, I dont use that any more.

You can export to .mp3 or .wav format with Audacity or any other competent audio file editing tool and then import them into your project .
