I think we need to run a pre-checker .. basically
when somebody posts something objectionable just filter it out that time without pushing to punBB database and then send it to a BLACKLIST database too so that scratch team can still do the 3 strikes policy that also saves the objectionable content to be viewed when somebody says ill words
some modification of BB would do it :-)Your grammar is not good enough I cannot understand you if you do not put any punctuation in your post please rewrite it
Well since there is no Native support for english inside my head its hard for me to write posts in proper english ..
So here is yet another try,
Okay we need to check posts before they are posted , That means checking the input post request to the server for objectionable content or bad language as soon as it reaches the server , there are numerous benifits if scratch team can edit a small part of the BB script for posting to implement this which includes reduced processing , ensured filteration and so on .
Makes sense now ? or do you want me to write it in a language my head supports the best , JavaScript

@ rev.89 rookwood we don't need a another config file most settings are currently stored in Localsettings.php (they may be moved to the database later on) and mysql config is stored in includes/sql.php (can't store that in the DB )

You need to have a user friendly config file that they can configure with the few things we need.

News:
Sourceforge will continue to host our SVN, but the bug tracker and others are moving to a new system maintained by me.
I am becoming your customer communications supervisor and web developer...
Oh, so far, it will run DotProject and HESK.
Please keep your SF accounts, or the SVN will not be accessible.

- Allow Stickies Section to be collapsible
- Quotes summaries/Scroll Bar/Single Line Summary
- Quote Summaries can be expanded to full post
- Forced Sticky Read? ( I kind of go against this, but whatever )
- Thread following, favourite threads, Favourite Threads section under the Stickies Section
. Basically Official Sticky Section, User Sticky Section
- Markers to mark what "state" your topic is in ( Example: [SOLVED] How do you get a signature? )
- Show My Topics/Posts
- Watching a topic ( you get an email when it's posted in )
- User Profile
- Customizable user-profile
. User-profiles use the CSS/Theme/Skin the user is using to browse the forums?
ScratchBB Site/Forum
- Split AT into Advanced Scratching, Scratch Mods, Programming/Coding
- Topic icons will be
. Gray for closed
. Black for not being posted in over a month
. Blue for last post by a user
. Green for last post by a Mod or Admin
- Scratch Cat Smileys
- Topic title change time limit increased to 1 hour
- Allow "New Scratchers" to delete their post within 3 minutes
- No Avatars
- An "Everything" Category
Just as a quick basic list to start from. Don't leave anything out (add question marks for possibilities).
We really do want to discuss each and every single feature we want in the forums so we know exactly what to add.
Should we have this as the "Official List" or would we like to put it somewhere else?
Most of this can be done in phpBB3. You probably want to create your own style, though.

Also, I know PHP, CSS, HTML, and Javascript, so I would like to help with development.
EDIT: Just checked Loves/Hates thread. If you need a like button, that's what I'll be best at.
EDIT: EDIT: That was quick.

Hey,
I could join. But maybe as a tester. I know a little PHP, but not a lot. Though I can dig out any glitch on this forum. My computer even has some glitches. So before you release this software, I could check it out.
