Re: Unity3D Collaboration

Quick question, is it too hard to use if you can't program in anything other than Scratch?  tongue  Been interested in it lately, after playing this Zelda II FPS and a cheaply made bike game for Android.

(I can't really help with the collab though, not even with ideas because I don't like or know about medieval stuff)

You'll need to know some basic programming and it would help if you knew Javascript.
You would also need some experience modelling.

Unity is literally a 3D, text-based Scratch...

We are making a game in Unity3D.
Do you know Javascript or C#?

Re: Unity3D Collaboration

Javascript as it's a scripting language. C# is a programming language.

Re: Unity3D Collaboration

I wouldn't mind being a playtester...

That said, I do have 3DS max (Have a student account.) But I am learning. Don't expect a fully working player model.

I got that much, and I understand JavaScript and C#.  My preferred language with Unity is C#.  Can I get more information on what kind of game it is?

Re: Unity3D Collaboration

Right, if you do hire me as a minor modeller (I'm distracted by making TF2 hats :p), you may wanna check this out first.
http://unity3d.com/support/documentation/Manual/HOWTO-ImportObjectMax.html
It tells you how to import any of my 3DS models.
