Meh. I can use Flash and SmartFox, but I really don't have a reason to: I'm doing enough things, it'll just make things more complicated.
As a tip of advice if other people like me stroll along, you should say why your collab is better than all the other collabs.

Well, When im old enough it's going to turn out to become a company, because i'll be able to pay you. I can get people on it really fast. We would have about 50 people in the first few hours, i bet.
Edit: Well this doesn't still answer you question i see.
I don't want to compete against other collabs, and i don't want to be BETTER. I just want to make a successful fun game for everyone.

There's your problem: competition is the only way. If you don't want it to be, in your words, BETTER, then it is going to be WORSE. Put it this way:
I am a programmer, looking for a Virtual World Collab to join.
Collab A is run by the most famous, best Scratcher. He pays his employees $100s an hour. He hires the best artists, ideaists, and programmers. He is known to make great games from great collabs.
Collab B is run by a New Scratcher with 20 posts and a single project. He pays his employees a $1 an hour, and hires anybody who wants to join. His only criteria is that game will be fun.
If I was accepted into both collabs, which collab would I be more likely to join?

You should also explain exactly what your are trying to create.
If you are coding it in Flash/Action Script, you should find another forum, since Scratch is for Scratch and beginner programmers.

Hmm, any suggestions for a website that i can hire people to volunteer?
