No URL bar

I went into the suggestions page and tried to vote for a project, It brought me to a window saying that I was a new scratcher and can't vote. But I maximized that window and closed my old window and the new window has no URL address bar. Any reason for why that happened? (It's pretty cool though) It still says I'm in my internet browser so it didn't change applications. Any ideas?

Re: No URL bar

That is normal.
It is a new popup window.

Re: No URL bar

I don't see the point in that, If your a company that uses pop ups to advertise products, wouldn't there be a URL people could save for if they want to go there again? Why would they take away the URL bar?

Re: No URL bar

Would you want to save the URL of a dubious advertisement and/or want navigate to that website again?

Anyway, if what you are after is the URL of the suggestions page you were on, just look at the top of the window and copy/paste the URL off there.
Or navigate back to the link, rightclick and open it in a new tab to preserve the URL address bar.
