Well, when I tried to upload a project, it said:

'Failed: Serialization: buffer too small for compressed data'.

I have absolutely NO idea what this means. Please - can anyone help?

[*EDIT*]: I'm not entirely sure if it IS a bug, but I just wasn't sure where to put this.

This occurs because your Scratch project is too small to be compressed.
Just try reuploading it again, but at the popup window where you enter your username/password/project notes and other information, deselect the box at the bottom-left corner which reads 'compress images and sounds'.
