Basically, you go choose one of some bots (that are shaped like animals) and race through the track. The main goal of the race is to collect as many stars as you can, not really winning (though winning does help). as you progress through the game you can rack up the amount of stars you have earned through multiple races and buy new paintjobs or more bots the you have unlocked. It's, overall, petty fun.
