I wanted to stop getting lag, found out that every new update I lost 10 frames per second, down to 30FPS now, I really wish that Jeb optimises it later on because optifine takes a while to update, and 20FPS is unplayable so I'm out on the next version.

I wish Jeb played Wurm to get some ideas, like the player walking faster on rougher surfaces, like glowstone and cobble, meaning people will want to make paths. There's also a system which turns grass into dirt if it's walked over enough, although it'd have to be tweaked for MC.

The regular wood is still there though too, so thats good, and all wood can be used together. For example, red wood on top of white wood would still make sticks.
