MaC has always had about 30 or so topics more than RaP.
RaP now has more topics than MaC!
Do you think this is showing that Scratchers are leaning more towards consuming rather than creating?
Offline
Probably not.
There are simply more official topics these days.

Not sure. While RaP seems to have a few more topics than MaC at the moment, trend-wise most non-Scratch posts end up in MaC than RaP, and MaC has about 10,000 more posts than RaP, which means that despite having less topics about creative activities at this point, more people want to talk about things that they are creating than things they're consuming.

Well, I find the MaC forum more interesting than RaP, but there are some topics (Like the FiM topic) in the RaP forum which I am also interested in.
Also, I noticed that RaP is the most misc-like...
And in MaC I tend to browse more and post less.

I've usually spent more time in MAC than RAP, but the Hunger Games topics have brought me back over there a bit. I'm on Spring Break, but I hate how everyone else is at school! I'm bored wandering the forums while they are empty! To make matters worse, my classmates, ALSO on spring break, never answer my emails!

Still, MaC has 10,000 more posts then RaP.

Probably because the MC official topic is in MaC. IT HAS 6,000 POSTS!!!

Well, we have lots of topics in MaC, and maybe people are satisfied (mispelled) with the ones already, so we don't really need lots of new ones.

Same. I barely post

Not nesicarily, because usually Scratchers tend to want to post where the most is going on. So if RaP gets one more post than MaC, it's likely that RaP will continue to lurch in front of MaC for a while until MaC picks up again.
Scratch is an interesting community in this sense because Scratch revolves around programming, so you'd think MaC would be more popular, but Scratch programmers are usually kids like 9-14 so they can be more limited at making things than an adult would be, therefor they tend to consume just as much.

Me too.
And I don't really think RaP is more misc like

I prefer RaP over MaC, mostly because I don't really care about what other people are doing.

I meant the type of discussions people have.

*does denethor face and slinks away*
That topic consumes more than 75% of 75% of scratcher's time.

Well I've never been a fan of M&C. Half the threads here are about Minecraft >_>
