i didn't copy
i based the idea off it but Poopo's original code is good and  should work but does't

How do you commit code to source forge?

and I'm relearning java as i go

Alpha 0.2 is the latest version not v0.1 as SF says

if you click and drag a block over another block - they will join together and you have a pile of blocks
