Does anyone else have issues with the program lagging if the code is too long?
(Scratch it's self, not the program you are making?)

Also, huge sections of my script keep getting deleted when I'm in the middle of working on it. Does this happen a lot?

Yes, this can and does happen. However, there isn't much you can do about it, besides just closing all of your other programs using working memory (use task manager or PC).

It's not actually being deleted, it's just that when the script is so long, the bottom of it gets chopped off, but it'll still work fine.
And about the lagging, the only thing you can do about it is to close programs you're not using.

But it isn't the end of the script that is disappearing, it is pieces in the middle...

I'm hoping lagging will be reduced in scratch 2.0. About the deleting scripts, I'm not sure because it's never happened to me.

It almost certainly will be reduced in 2.0, since it'll be in Flash, which is quicker
