A (political?) cartoon

My opinion of Kaj.

Is things about Scratch community political? Sort of?

Okay, so this is just my drawing of my opinion of Kaj, and the fact that all it was was Kaj threatened to destroy Scratch to get popular. Rumors spread and then it grew bigger and bigger untill Kaj went from troll to master hacker that is going to destroy the universe. In reality, Kaj had already left. Kaj never had the capability to script a game, nevermind hacking Scratch.

In case it's hard to read that, put basically:

Kaj threatened to destroy Scratch to get popular > People were scared > Rumors spread that made Kaj out as a master hacker > Kaj was banned > People still were afraid of Kaj and saw Kaj as a computer wizard hacker, even though he couldn't ever hack Scratch.

That is my opinion.

The shadow would bend when it hits the wall.

But yeah, that is true. Kaj is only well known because of the Scratch Community. If we forgot about her and just moved on, Kaj wouldn't be as "scary" as she is known as now.

I do think people overreact about Kaj way to frequently.

For the record, on another thread, wolvesstar was clueless about kaj, then she read the following and posted this.

Okay, first I want to clear something up. Kaj was a user who wanted popularity so they said that they would "take over Scratch". Eventually, people were frightened and rumors grew. Today's story you are likely to hear from newer members is that they "hacked". They didn't, the claims of ruling and taking down Scratch were all they did. Today it has become a ghost story, with impersonators and the like of Kaj intending to scare our community.

Also, if Kaj did in fact post here, it is likely they were deleted because newer or more gullible members could be surprised and act illogically at the sight of one of his posts, no matter how old or not provocative. I remember when Kaj still had an account, but was long gone, there were several people constantly bashing him, even when the only project of his available was "Animal Farm is awesome", with nothing at all noteworthy for hatred.

Tl:dr, Kaj is a ghost story who caused no major harm, but caused panic. They probably deleted his posts so gullible users are not scared by them. (If he even ever did post

I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

I read the wiki.  tongue

I have known about Kaj for a while. But not in depth.

I looked at Lightnin's project.

And all I said on that thread was "I'm joing Kaj research".

That is absolutely smashing! I myself believe it was all a conspiracy to root deep-seated fear in the members of Scratch. Mmyes.

Re: A (political?) cartoon

It's true, Kaj was only an immature n00b who couldn't program a single thing. She was really greedy and wanted more views on her projects, but since she was so unpopular she threatened to destroy Scratch. Anger management problems...

BTW, if you want views, GO TO THE SHOW AND TELL FORUM TO ADVERTISE YOUR PROJECT. JEEZ.
