Well, first you have to argue if Minaj is even really an 'artist'.
Artist; n; One, such as a painter, sculptor, or writer, who is able by virtue of imagination and talent or skill to create works of aesthetic value, especially in the fine arts.
Minaj has admitted (which I find to be hilarious) that she has ghost writers that write her songs and music for her. So no, she's not even an artist, just another commercially popular singer who dresses like some sort of predator, not to be 'creative' as one like her or Lady Gaga would claim, but for the publicity. Disgusting.
Anyway, an actual 'artist' that knows a thing or two about music is Chris Thile. He's an incredible singer and mandolin player and has been involved in all sorts of musical projects.

People with no good arguments stoop so low as to impersonate and change words.
Google "Nicki Minaj" and see the images (don't do it young kids!), you can clearly see this is nobody anyone should look up to, and she clearly has a fashion sense of being practically naked or looking idiotic at all times.
It is honestly disturbing how low our morals have become to allow someone like that to be so prominent.funelephant can have their opinion, there's no reason to slam them over it.
My favorite singer is Bruce Springsteen.Thank you
My mom LOVES Bruce Springsteen
my dad's obsessed :T
he has every cd, dvds, has went to pretty much every concert in Minnesota, and for his birthday his brothers got him a $40 book or something (my uncle's are huge fans too)
he is a pretty good singer though

Yeah , it's not.
So please stay on topic.
This is not on topic because I asked people their favorite artist, not to discuss Nicki Minaj. If I wanted to talk about Nicki Minaj, I would make a new thread about that.
So thank you and good day.

Aaaanyway I found another artist that I kind of like
Christina Aguilera
No, she is not the artist that I'm hiding from you guys
I admire her because she has a great voice.

1. If you didn't want people to discuss Nicki Minaj, then don't bring up Nicki Minaj.
That's like me posting a Mario thread, and then freaking out every time someone mentions Toad.
2. 12three was just bringing up some well thought out points. Not EVERYONE likes the same music as you. When you create ANYTHING general, threads included, you get people from multiple backgrounds and opinions. If all you want it people saying " OMG Nicki Minaj!!!111eleven1!!" then create a narrow discussion, not a general one.
3. OT- Skrillex and Bono

For the last time, it's not Justin Beiber. Why do you keep saying it is when I have already told you it's not? I've actually mentioned once before that I dislike his music.
And no, I'm still not going to say who it is because somebody will reply saying "WHY DO YOU LIKE HER SHES BAD AT SINGING ETC"
I probably shouldn't have even brought it up.
