Shapes : Oval and Circular

Hi

I am doing a science project where I want to show Plant Cell

I am new to Scratch. My question is how can I do a simple Oval or a Circle in Scratch.

Are there some examples on how to draw various shapes in Scratch and do animation of shapes.

Appreciate if someone can get me started.

Thanks
Rajesh

Re: Shapes : Oval and Circular

In the painting window when creating your pictures, there is a circle tool. This does circles and ovals.

Re: Shapes : Oval and Circular

Well, for animation, you will have to draw and script each shape and frame.

But for circles, and ovals too, there is a circle tool. There is also a Square Tool allowing you to draw squares and rectangles.

To find out more, I suggest you open up a new Scratch project and then start messing around with it.

Re: Shapes : Oval and Circular

Open up a new Scratch project and click the button near the bottom of the stage which reads 'paint new sprite'.
The Scratch Paint Editor will appear.
Look until you see the oval tool.
You can create circles and ovals by clicking and dragging.
To make perfect circle, press and hold shift while clicking and dragging.
