Scratch

Well, thanks for pulling me out of MaC and RaP for a while. 

Still, I have some questions about this post from Paddle2See on the closing of the Kony 2012 topic,

Now, I am not saying that it was an invalid reason for closing it. Political discussions are usually against the rules. But what caught my eye was that he was instead encouraging to go discuss it in a project and its comments! Obviously a political topic (particularly about a child-stealing warlord) could get hard to moderate. But in the forums, it is staying on the front page for people to remember, and everyone knows it's there, and can help report. In a project, it could easily get hidden among the other million (and counting!) projects, and nobody could even realize that it was in existence. So, this comes down to one question:

How can something like this be banned from the forums, but not the main site?
