Is there anything special going on for St. Patricks Day? There was a thing for pi day. I thing there should be a smiley today with a green leprechaun hat.

Indeed it is St. Patrick's day!
However, St. Patrick's day is a holiday related to Christianity and celebrates "the arrival of Christianity in Ireland" which is specific to that religion and therefor, not everyone celebrates it.
I'm not sure if the Scratch Team would support this idea because of its religious meaning. Although they have had official Halloween celebrations, too.

Actually, according to Wikipedia and various other sources, Halloween is attached and designed to be celebrated by Christians. Some religions don't celebrate Halloween because they believe it relates to or celebrates the devil.
Personally, I think little holidays like St. Patricks are okay to be celebrated, but anything that might cause problems like Christmas should not be officially celebrated or supported. Mainly because there is nothing everyone agrees with, but banning all religious discussions and celebrations is a bit much.

Well, pretty much all the Christians I know don't celebrate it. They all say it's wrong to pretend to be evil

Probably because Halloween has completely changed from the original point.
