You know how here is new scratcher and scratcher? Well, I think there should be an advanced scratcher. It would be above the "scratcher" status. Here is what you would need to become an advanced scratcher:
1. Have your account for at least 1 year
2. Have over 2000 posts
3. Have over 1000 comments (things you commented on)
4. Have at least 15 projects posted
5. Be friendly and helpful
6. Had a front paged project at least once
7. Never been kicked off scratch
8. Have at least one project with over 500 views
I think it would be awesome if the scratch team took this into consideration. I also wouldn't mind anyone editing it to change maybe some rules or numbers. Post what you think.

Hmmm.....rewarding Scratchers for getting high amounts of views and such seems like it may cause some problems and Scratchers may cheat to get the award.
The tough thing about the "Advanced Scratcher" idea, is that it's hard to tell what makes them gain that award.

http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=56752 is the same basic idea.

Yeah, me neither. And I don't really think it's fair to upgrade people based on their programming ability either, which this looks like. You shouldn't have to have a project with over 500 views or anything, because that means that even if you're the kindest, most helpful user there is, but you're no good at programming, you'll never get upgraded
