Even though I'm suggesting this, I sort of disagree a bit as well as agree. I think when projects are uploaded they should first be viewed by a member of the scratch team to make sure they're appropriate. Then, if it's acceptable, then it can be displayed online. This would keep away the inappropriate projects. But, what I disagree with is that the members of the scratch team have better things to do than check every new project. Also, projects can be flagged and then get kicked off online.

It would be a little work, one of the scratch team members would always have to be online, and also, some projects are very long projects. It would be hard.

Too hard.
Scratchers just have to do their job and flag stuff that needs it.

Seeing as a project is uploaded every five minutes or so, I don't think this is very likely to happen.

It's actually one minute, so yea, this would be WAY too much work for the ST.

I'm guessing we would need about 1000 ST members.

There are over two million projects.
I shudder at the length of time it would take to look at every individual one.
