I just use MS Paint, save multiple files, search for a gif generator, play around with it a bit, save the picture, then i'm done!

What I do for GIFs is make the frames and save them as seperate files, upload all of them at once to a GIF generator, delete the files but not the GIF, and done!  smile

I've figured out how! it works on other programs too! but the only other program i tried for it was photoshop elements 9 see my icon? i made it from photoshop
