I am MEGA excited for when it arrives.
Android works fine without tweaking on 256MB of RAM. You probably won't be doing much multitasking, though. I don't care though, the first order of business when I get mine is to give it a bite (or byte ) of Ice Cream Sandwich. xD

That doesn't mean I won't be programming and doing other things on it. I'll also probably do a good bit of my web browsing on it, instead of the 8 pound HP laptop currently on my lap.

@Applejack: $50-200 TI calculator with a 3Mhz Z80 vs. $25-$35 RPi with a 700Mhz ARM11.

First thing I'm going to do is get 2 SD cards, and install Debian on one and Android ICS on another, in that order.

My game boy has a Z80 processor as well... My TI-84 plus SE cost $90 (most are around $130, but mine was from walmat) I just don't know how much the screen, mouse, keyboard and other stuff would add to the cost. It would be cool to make a game-boy sort of thing with it by making a case with a built-in screen, and different SD cards for different games.

It's not officially supported by Canonical, but it'll be able to run (although older version of Ubuntu will work better).

Ubuntu DOES work on it, as veggie pointed out, but GNOME would be awfully slow on it. That's why I said Xubuntu, which uses the much smaller and faster XFCE (I may have spelled that wrong or forgot a letter, I'm not in a mood to google it tongue ).

Xfce, not XDE. I'd prefer Lubuntu with LXDE because it's less memory intensive though.

I prefer Debian, although each is different and used for different purposes. Arch is the smallest, but it doesn't have any sort of graphical interface. They're all intended to be small because they have specific builds for the Raspberry Pi.
