Cool doesn't necessarily mean "for gaming"

but if you look at the transparent text however...

The transparent text was a joke.

Cool!

I may get myself one of these, but buying Final Cut Express (a video editor for Macs) ate up all of my money.  sad

Nice find! I wonder if that comes on the official Fedora build, or if he just showed it for an example.  smile

you'd be surprised

Fun facts about Pi Day:
It's my brother's birthday
It's Einstein's birthday
It's an epic easter egg
I ate pie today :3

Also, in case you didn't know,

For all you people out there who aren't as interested in actually DOING stuff (programming), someone could port Android to it. They would need to tweak it to work with 256mb of ram though.

It's possible to have more than one SD card to work with it so you could have a few little SD cards in your pocket with the RasPi, and depending on what you wanted to do, plug the one with the software and settings for what you wanted to do. It would be EPIC.

I'm also really excited because I can have more than one SD card for it, which means I could have a Debian one, Fedora, and if they ever port it and I get bored, Android.

I am MEGA excited for when it arrives.

Android works fine without tweaking on 256MB of RAM. You probably won't be doing much multitasking, though. I don't care though, the first order of business when I get mine is to give it a bite (or byte  tongue ) of Ice Cream Sandwich. xD

That doesn't mean I won't be programming and doing other things on it. I'll also probably do a good bit of my web browsing on it, instead of the 8 pound HP laptop currently on my lap.  tongue

@Applejack: $50-200 TI calculator with a 3Mhz Z80 vs. $25-$35 RPi with a 700Mhz ARM11.  tongue

Re: Raspberry Pi Official Topic

You know what I would do?

I would buy 100 of them ($3800) and cluster them, and build a super computer :3

25.6GB of RAM.

100 processors at 800Mhz...  tongue
