if there was a gravity block than it would be so much easier then making a giant script about gravity and it should be something like this (gravity (1)) so you can change it to make it stronger weaker so if i was to do (gravity (0)) than than wold make it 0g and objects dont fall they wold float i think this will make scratch a bit a lot better

If there's a block for everything, you won't learn anything; just learn to program it yourself, it's actually a lot easier than it looks

in the next version of scratch there will be procedures so you can MAKE a gravity block. That way you only have to make the long, complicated script once: when you make the gravity block.

Actually you only need around eight blocks for it.
And a gravity block wouldn't work. There's too many variables that vary from project to project, it would simply be impossible to program a universal one.
As I said before; if everything has one neat block which does everything for you, then how are you gonna improve your programming skills?

Long scripts are neede to teach you. That's what scratch is for. For example, here's no jump block, but in scatch 2.0 you can make one.

Scratch is about learning to program.
Exactly. It's not quite a simple game maker, but an educational tool. So if you thought Scratch was a game, think again.
If Scratch were to be a game maker, how would we be learning everything because it's done for us?

yeah but if there was a gravity block i wold be a lot easier thank having to make a long script and yes i know how to do it but i think it is easier to put down one block rather than 100 blocks
But you would only have to use the complicated script once: when you make the gravity block. Then for the rest of the project you only have to use the one gravity block you made and not make the whole script again.
