Hi All! 30 something noob wanting to learn to program

Hi everyone,

I discovered this site during my Open University course where I have started to learn 'Sense' which is derived from Scratch.

I have an idea which i have started on which is to create a 'prediction league' app for the up coming soccer euro champs.

Question about lists:

1) Are lists limited to one field only?

Welcome, se2633! Do you mind if I ask where your name comes from?  smile
I don't understand what you mean.  hmm  Do you mean only one dimension. If so, yes. But all hope is not lost! Go here to find out how to simulate a multidimensional array.  smile

You can, but you'd have to have separate lists for each one. If you imagine the list as a table, you can only have one column  smile

Welcome to scratch! We're composed of mostly teenagers, witch a couple of younger kids and even less adults, but as long as you adapt well, you should be fine.

Welcome. As others have said, it's nice to see some adults cropping up here. Good to know it's not just child geniuses.

I didn't think I was either. Than I started programming better than some teenagers, and changed my mind.
