It would help but I think what will help the most is if everyone respected each other enough to see how great Doody is.
Those are some wonderful words, DawnLight; indeed, it would help most. Certainly, whatever has happened in the past can't be erased, but constantly berating other users for past actions when they're trying to start over fresh is unfair. I think we have to simply let the Doody fiasco go, let bygones be bygones, and start over, treating everyone with respect.

Yeah. I, for one, agree to forgive Doody for her past mistakes.
All that are with me say AYE!!!
.......
And there's something else I must tell all of you. I should have said this before. The true reason that Doody was banned.(Well, a lot of the reason why)
And I know the people who did it.
I wished that I would never have to tell this story, but I must. Back in February, I believe, two of my friends were talking in our Scratch Club in school. They were talking about how Doody always clogged up the front page. So, they created many accounts such as doodyhater22, doodyhater23, and LuigiXD. They spammed Doody's projects, posted harmful projects with dead hamsters on it, and to make it all worse, they made another account on a different computer and FLAGGED doody and framed her for making hater accounts so she could get banned. Sadly, there mischievous plan worked. They were the Doodyhaters that brought all this upon her. I tried to stop them, but they just wouldn't listen. They soon after got banned. They had to turn themselves in and told a teacher about what they had done. They sent an apology letter to MIT saying that they carried out this nasty plot.
Now that I have this little story off of my hands, things could get a little more normal around here.

Of course you didn't. Only a few other scratchers and I knew about this.

You don't act like you're a better programmer than everybody else
You know how to handle fame more responsibly than 90% of celebrities
You aren't taking enough time to learn how to make better scripts
I would be happy to debug any of your projects. I'm all for good scripts... and you're better than I am with the Scratch paint editor. However, all those graphics are wasted when you post a project that is, in the eyes of some, pointless.
A hamster game with frequent updates could help your problem by keeping the hamster club in one spot where they don't argue about other people (sorry, the people who don't fully support your actions have a right of free speech too).

I thought the issue was about people bothering her and berating her over the horrible incident, not about the projects she uploaded.

There is no need to keep dredging up the past here. Doody, I am sorry you are continuing to be bothered by people. Please use the Flag, Ignore and Contact Us features to notify the Scratch team when people are violating the Terms of Use by being disrespectful.
Let's all try to focus more on having fun with Scratch and less on who did whatever to whom (if that sentence makes any sense - lol). Thanks and Scratch On!
