The Scratch search engine (which i think is based on google) is blocked by windows parental controls. Any idea Why?

You have/use windows parental controls, right?
Often security software isn't very good at determining what's safe and what's not, so they censor too much or too little.

I'm not sure. Maybe the parental controls are picky about Google searches?
I'm not familiar with Windows Parental Controls, but perhaps there's a way to have the parental controls lessened when using the Scratch search system. If it helps to put your parents at ease, Scratch's search system uses Google's SafeSearch, so most bad content is screened out already.

I hated it when I had it. So stupid. ^^
It just isn't smart enough. As already said, it probably doesn't like Google CSE.
