Yeah.. I had to reinstall it in a different area to fix it, I don't know why but my Scratch.exe became "write-protected" and not even the uninstaller could get rid of it, so I had to reinstall in a different area - which fixed it - but is there any way to get rid of this "write-protection"?

The folder permissions probably changed. So you need to login as Admin and change the permissions of the old Scratch folder to allow all users to access.

Log into a admin account, and then use the uninstall tool.

Sometimes for older programs, you have to install it somewhere you have access to. Programs that are fully compatible with newer versions of Windows I think have to use a manifest file.

I am the administrator, and I still tried this and it didn't work. I'm on a windows vista computer (Don't ask me why - ask my parents.) but I got another working scratch after installing it on a different location on my computer.
