This is the topic where you can discuss all things sewing.
I know I'm not the only person who likes to on Scratch...
I like sewing plush toys, because I don't have any suitable fabric for making clothes OR a sewing machine. Plus plushies are cute.
I won't post any pictures of what I've done so far because they were made from old pajamas and have slightly unraveled and have holes in the fabric from unraveling.
They are ugly.
LOL.
Also, I invented a stitch. It's strong and I though it was the backstitch, but my home ec teacher said "That is NOT the backstitch THIS is the backstitch."
And then she made me rip out the seams >:U
I'm going to Fabricana in a few days! ^_^
I won't have to make stuffies with pajamas any more ^_^
So...
I will make a pony plush or/and a scratch cat.
So...
Should I make the pony plush or the scratch cat?
And should I make the pony plush, which pony?
Thanks ^______________________________^

Oh gosh. Thanks for reminding me. We have to sew a Japanese cushion for school, and I am literally the worst in my class at sewing by a mile -___________-
Words cannot describe how awful I am xD

I'm really bad at the running stitch, but everything else for me is easyish.
But you have to show me how to do it before I understand anything about a stitch.

I sewed a pocket out of jeans for our California history "workshop" one year when I was in fourth grade. My mom thought of buying me a sewing machine for Christmas, and she's like, "No... no, she wants a guitar more." I was like, ".... I DID WANT A SEWING MACHINE!" And she never remembers where she puts hers, lol. I've been sewing pockets out of napkins out of boredom with a plastic needle. xD

????
Why would she do that? Its a strong stitch, and it works!

Because she's trying to teach different stiches.

Rarity!

I'll post a list of ponies I could do.
NOT Rainbow Dash. The fabric would be too expensive.
I could do Rarity.
I could do Derpy.
I could do Twilight (I want to do her. A lot.)
I could do Fluttershy.
I could do Pinkie Pie.

LOL.
Some cloth has a tendency to unravel faster than others. T-shirt fabric is notorious for this.
There are some ways to prevent unraveling, though. Since you don't have a sewing machine, you can use a zigzag stitch.

THAT EXPLAINS WHY THE PILLOW I MADE FROM A TSHIRT FELL APART IN LIKE 2 SECONDS!!

Well, that explains almost everything I sew getting holes in it as soon as I'm done >_>

I used to sew sometimes, but mostly cross-stitch (I was terrible at it...). Have you ever done anything related but not quite sewing, like cross-stitch, needle-point, embroidery, etc.?
