Re: BandCamp Official Thread

I have a question about bandcamp. How much do you make off of name-your-price downloads?

depends on how well known you are and how much people like you
radiohead did a pwyw on their own website and made tons
i've made about ten dollars (though that was for a physical release)

So nobody pays for downloads? (Because I see you've sold 2 cassettes for $5, 5*2=10)

Yeah...I have to redo it.
It sounds really weird when I uploaded it for some reason. It sounded better in the editing session. Anyways, redoing...

Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

I like it but it seems like you're singing at a different beat from the song

Well that's my bandmate's editing. Those are my vocals; one vocal track split into two: one track is higher and one track is lower in pitch.

I pronounced them very clearly. I have no idea what effect he put on them to make it sound like that.

So I found this band on BandCamp, and at first I was like "this is wholesome and family friendly; people on scratch will like it"

But then I heard Track 7

What's the bands name? I'll look it up at my own risk.
