Electric Light Orchestra

Just decided I'd make a topic about a band, I looked at a list of bands that were playing on the radio one day and chose ELO.

I'll probably start making topics like these often. ^^

In case you don't know, they're a progressive rock/symphonic rock band that formed in the 1970's and had a lot of hits during that time, usually melding pop-rock and occasionally hard rock with classical orchestration.

What do you think of ELO, and what songs do you like from them?

I personally like "Mr. Blue Sky", "Evil Woman", "Do Ya", and "Last Train to London".

Re: Electric Light Orchestra

To me they sound like wannabe prog and didn't exactly mesh symphonic music and rock very well. Prog bands like Yes and ELP did much finer jobs.

But that's just my opinion  smile
