Drawing off the side of the stage

If I set up a script to draw a pattern - like a LOGO word - with some variables that let me change size and rotation, it seems to work fine while the whole pattern is on the stage, but once the drawing moves off the stage the amount of turn seems to get changed. Is there some setting I've missed to allow things to happen correctly 'off stage'?

Re: Drawing off the side of the stage

There is a slight border around the page in which sprites can be "off screen", but any sprites wider than that will still be showing partically.  I'm actually interested: has anyone done some experiments to determine what the size of the zone is?
