So I recently found a band called Toadies... Or is it The Toadies? It says The Toadies on their Vevo channel, but Toadies basically everywhere else. I'm gonna call them The Toadies, because Toadies just sounds awkward.
They sort of have a brand of grungy creepy alternative 90's rock that I just can't get enough of these days... This song is currently my favorite song. It's their second biggest hit, called Tyler. I haven't checked to make sure it is totally clean, but it is such a great song musically.
Their catchiest most well known song is Possum Kingdom, which is another awesome song. I bought their first album and it is almost entirely good.
I am just wondering if anyone else knows them, and if they like the songs.
They take a few listens to get catchy, but they do eventually. The riff from Tyler seems so obvious to me, almost too obvious (the one after the chorus), but it is almost genius the way they stuck it in there... It is a very godly riff that I do not seem worthy of.
Discuss.

Call 'em Toadies... I love it when band names are like that (Pixies). Anyway I've never heard them before. I'll listen now.
Hmm, it just seems like generic '90s alternative to me.
But if you like listening to it, by all means do. I'll stick with my Elephant 6.

EXACTLY what I thought. I think you should start with Possum Kingdom and just listen to it if you need a song in the background of your internetting. It eventually sticks to your brain.

Those are different! They have a 'the' in the name except Talking Heads, which is different!

Smashing Pumpkins
Radiohead (well that doesn't really make sense as "the Radiohead" but still)

It appears you do not live in North-Eastern United States.
It is a chain of really awesome funny random stuff, CDs, posters, vidya games, DVDs, comics, and t-shirts and stuff

The Smashing Pumpkins has a 'the' in the name but a lot of people leave it off and Radiohead doesn't make sense.
