Pretty good. And I prefer the Lorax from his book self.

But here is five different meanings people got from the Lorax (one is to buy SUVs).

I think The Lorax is just a dandy movie (and from what I've heard, one of the better ones)...but that shouldn't be the title. As far as I know, Dr.Seuss's The Lorax was all a flashback, there was nothing the boy could do, and there definitely no romance in it. Call me persnickety, but I don't think the movie should claim much of a connection to the book.

It's like Shrek and How to Train Your Dragon.

Shrek is WAY further away from the movie than any of the other ones. Have you ever read it?

Yep. Shreck was funny, but the original book was VERY different. Not to mention there were WAY too many sequels.

Either way, I think it would have been too short if it was just what the book was. It was pretty good the way they worked everything in (and managed to have a happy ending).
Betty White was the best supporting character in it.

I also liked the once-ler when he was young... BUT MOSTLY BECAUSE HE HAD A KICK-BUTT SUIT AND AN AWESOME VILLAN SONG.

Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs also bashed "The Lorax" on his show last week, claiming that "Hollywood is once again trying to indoctrinate our children." He said that the film — along with another new family movie, "The Secret World of Arrietty," — is "plainly demonizing the so-called 1% and espousing the virtue of green energy policies, come what may."

Wow just wow

The songs were good. Could have used some plot work, though.

The rest was pretty good, though the message could have been a little stronger.

This made me remember, in the full version of Seussical, JoJo steps on a landmine and dies.

Then the Cat brings him back to life. o3o
