My brother and I are at a total dead end. We've spawned in a jungle and we already killed and ate all the animals. I only have two chickens still alive, the only farm I got to make. We're surviving on apples from trees and the rare chicken. Sometimes I can get a little wheat from my farm to make a loaf of bread, but it doesn't last.

I'm trying to make a hamachi server for me and my friends. I downloaded the minecraft_server.jar from minecraft.net and made the server and whatnot. I installed hamachi, created a network and they joined. I put the ip of hamachi in the server properties and started up the server. They couldn't connect. What'd I do wrong?
If you can read this you are in range.

They must have hamachi and join the same network. And don't put the IP in the server properties.

Try fishing. It takes a while, but it's a good way of getting food.

Kill some skeletons. It'll get you wheat fast, and help expand your farm.

It's true they're hard to get, but once you get them food is never a problem.
