how to make multiscroller

i want to make a scroller that goes up and down and left and right. how is this possible with scratch

I like cream cheese and video games (including programming them with scratch!)

This isn't easy to make in scratch, but I made an engine for this a long time ago: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/hmnwilson/67879

You can't go too far though, because that would require LOTS of sprites.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Sounds hard.Maybe you should check out the code of archmage's Mario Cart game.It is a scroller that goes up down left and right.
