Re: Saddest book you've read?

Goodnight Mr. Tom.

Honestly. We did it as a topic, and I wanted the book to be continued (I dont really like books in general)

It's about an evacuee who is scared of everyone, grows fond of the person who's caring, called back by his evil mum, mum had a baby, boy battered and threatened, locked in a cellar with baby, rescued, baby dead, fostered, lives happily, best friend dies, goes insane, normal in the LAST page of book, say's "look dad, I'm riding a bike" to his fosterer.

The Girl who could Fly, by Victoria Forester.

Read it, it is the best book ever as well as the saddest.

Invisible Man.

It basically ends with him realizing people think he is worthless and living in a hole. Still a darn good read, though.

The part in Mattimo where Queen Warbeak dies,I might have read something sadder but I don't remember.

EDIT: Just reread Mossflower and the part where Mask dies is also really sad

Hunger Games and...

A dog book... I think a dog named Moon dies and that's the only sad part in the book, sadly.

Nevermind, make that two.
