Maybe next year
You have a good chance this time around, there have only really been 3 serious applications

That includes mine, I hope.
After hearing you've been re-posting every month for a year, I think I'll feel sorta bad if I get picked... Good luck, may the force be with you!

This is irrelevant, but how are you a Scratcher with only 1 post??

Hey Scratch Team,
Intro
I would love to be a curator. Of course I can't just put that and expect to be a curator. The best time of year that I could be curator is in two weeks on March 18. I have always wanted to be a curator and I know some great projects that have 1-5 views and they are one of the best projects I have ever seen.
About Me
I first started Scratch when I was 9 years old. I knew nothing about programing. Though over the years I have gotten better and better at programing. Then I got bumped up to a Scratcher. Everyday I would look at the section where it said "Projects Selected by________" and I thought, what would it take to become a Curator. Well I realized that and that is why I am posting this Speech. I am currently working at the Gaming Archive picking projects to become either 1st, 2nd or 3rd. A lot of people love the projects I pick.
Projects I would Curate
Well I would pick projects that have less then 100 views. And the type of projects I would Curate would be games and Animations. And I would not pick projects that have 0 sprites and 0 scripts and just show the Scratch Cat. And also I wouldn't pick projects because the I like the user a lot, because it is a good game. And I would not pick for people who are popular. Like Scratchers who have over 1000 view on every other project they do. And the Animations would be funny, not boring animations. What a lot of people have been doing is making threads where the title is "Get Your Projects Curated". I might do this.
I hope you take this into appreciation.
Thanks

Sounds good, Joletole! I think that spot on the gaming archive is gonna help you a lot! Here's a tip: could you give a bit more info about the projects that you would pick? You gave a lot about yourself, and why you want to be a curator, but hardly anything about the projects. They are the main focus!
Scratch On!

Sorry, you have to be a Scratcher to be a Curator. Keep posting and making projects and you might get there. Here is the Click-able link. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/RedRocker227/2362138

Intro
Good day, My name is ImagineIt and I would like to apply to be a curator. I have been on scratch for approximately one year and finally, after learning the way scratch works and it's rules, I believe I'm ready to apply for a spot on the curator list. I know that being a curator is a large responsibility and it is not just having your name on the front page so that people look at your projects. I know that I must choose projects that I (and other scratchers) like and think should be curated. Considering this, I will now move on.
Why I Would Like to be Curator
Many projects that I know of now go very unnoticed. This is a very big problem in my opinion. If I were curator, I would change the projects I curate every day so that I can curate as many projects as I can without the project being on for too short of a time.(14 * 3 = 84. That's a lot of projects!) I will make sure that I do not accidentally curate a user twice so that I can fit in as many users as I can too.(Again, 84 users.) As I have been front paged twice, the scratchers who are curated will be very excited and enthusiastic.
Projects I will curate
I will curate projects that don't have many views and are in one of these categories:
Educational
Fun
A lot of effort was put into it
The project cannot have too many views or love-its.
Closing
Thank you for reading my speech. I really would appreciate for you to consider making me the next curator. I will really dedicate my time to choosing new project if I am chosen. Thank you so much. --ImagineIt
P.S. I made a project for it: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/ImagineIt/2370703

This hasn't been posted on in a while. Can someone give me some suggestions for my speech please? I only want them for next month.

Maybe you should add that New Scratchers can't apply? I think that would be helpful.

No, I mean add to my post.

People want to see things that are out of the ordinary. They want to see things that are special. Not the normal 5 minute project. They want to see things where the effort that was put into them is visible in the outcome. Those are the type of projects I will curate if I become curator.

Hello, I am 90uke.
The projects that I would select if I was a curator would be Pixelated RPGs, the reason being that Pixelated RPGs are usually more creative,, artwork tends to be better, they are more viewed, and, programming for them can be easier due to thier shape, but the big reason I like Pixelated projects are because the first scratch project I saw was about the cute little puffball charecters and, of course they were pixelated, they sort of grew on me... Please consider making me a curator and reply to me so that I know you have gotten my request.
About me, I started scratching at 9 yrs old, my first project being "jump" now I am learning how to use xvelocety, yvelocety. I have been mostly inspired by the music that scratch gives me in the download and have started all of my projects so far off of them.

I would like to become scratch curator because I try to look for interesting projects such as zaneninjadudes. I won't choose the people who make it to top loved and stuff like that. I will choose not well known but AWESOME projects like if there's a cool coloring contest, I might select it. I hope that if I become
scratch curator, I will try to aim high and choose good projects.
