This is a really interesting game. I love how you can make your own accounts and see yourself in the high score.

Great Job Man!  I'm going to try and share this game with others because I really like it.

This is amazing.  I don't understand how the account system works? Is there a server of some sort?  How does the server work with scratch?

I think you can figure out how the account system works by looking in the scripts.

Background

Blob Nation consists of a set of five different projects. The first four projects are the game itself. The fifth project gives you instructions on how to transfer accounts between games. The Blob Nation game had to be split into four separate parts because it was too large as a single project. Part 1 of Blob Nation is called “Welcome To The World”, part 2 is called “The Disaster”, part 3 is called “The Sword of the Spirit”, and part 4 is called “Until The End Of Time”.

Blob Nation has a complex storyline and two unique features that make it such a fun game to play. You will need to download the game for these features to work because the game continuously resets itself when playing it online.



In each part of the game, you can make your own accounts, as many as you want. This feature makes the game so diverse. The characters in the game talk to you by using the name of the account you created. You advance in the game with the account you log in with. This means one account can be at one point of the game, while others may be in other points of the game. Every time you touch a Breath of Life Object (a huge rock in the game) with the account you are currently logged into, the health, level, experience, rank, protection points, training points, area, and the location that the account is currently at in the story line will be saved to that account. In this way, when you log back into the game with the same account you saved earlier, you will be right where you left off.



Secondly, the game has a working high scores. Since you can create and save the progress of accounts created, you can see your account in the high scores. The high scores starts out blank. When you save an account by touching the Breath of Life Object, the high scores will update itself. After saving an account, you will see your account in the high scores. The high scores displays the name, level, and rank of your top ten accounts (your highest level account will be at number 1 and so on). I also really love this feature because I like seeing myself at number one in games. In the past, I can remember spending hours and hours of my life on MMORPG games. These are games in which you play with other players to try to see who gets to be on the top high scores page. I dreamed of being in the top of one of these games, but I never managed to do it because I came to realize that it’s not really worth throwing away your life on a game. With the high scores feature in this game, my dream of being number one in a game can come true, and if you ever wanted to see yourself in that spot too, you can, now, with this game. You don’t have to spend hours and hours trying to compete with other player to see yourself in number the high scores board any more. All you have to do is simply save your first account, and you will see that account on the high scores at the number 1 spot.

Classes



Warrior

The warrior class is a strong and powerful class. Warriors inflict the highest amount of damage above all other classes. The damage that you can hit will drastically increase as your level increases. Choose warrior if you enjoy doing a lot of damage against your enemies.

Runner

The runner class has its own unique feature that no other class has. Blobs in the runner class are able to throw their swords at their enemies. This allows you to strike down your enemy from a distance. You can use the hit and run technique the best with this class. The distance that you can throw your sword increases as your level increases. Choose runner if you enjoy inflicting damage against your enemies from the distance.

Follower

The follower class is based on using the protection feature. When you use protection by clicking on the"p' key on your keyboard, you are protected from all attacks. To stop using protection, you simply click on the "p" key again on your keyboard. Protection goes down the longer you use it. You are protected until your protection points reach 0. When your protection points reach 0, you are no longer protected. In order to recharge your protection points, you need to touch a Breath of Life Object. The follower class allows your protection to drop down at a much slower rate compared to all other classes. The length it takes for your protection to go down increases as your level increases. Choose follower if you don't enjoy being hit or like using the protection feature.

ROCK

This class has by far the highest defense above all other classes. Blobs in the rock class have such high defense that you can actually gain health when you are attacked. Your defense increases as your level increases. If you like seeing your enemies hit really low damge on you or even gain damage as your enemy hits you, choose the ROCK class.

You're quest for answers have been finished, but you're journey has just begun. Using the great Sword of the Spirit, you must take on the ever fighting battle against the demons of this world. As you grow stronger and stronger, the sword will grow closer and closer to you and protect you more and more. Keep on fighting the demons that get in your way of life until the end of time. And someday, someday, maybe when that day comes, you might be powerful enough to destroy all demons that get in your way, and then you will be finally free.

This is where you compete against others to see who can be the best of all time.

Part 5: Transferring Accounts



This explains how to transfer accounts between games. It may be a bit confusing. I tried to get as detailed as I could in explaining the process, but I have come to realize that it’s pretty hard to understand what I wrote. Make sure that you follow the instructions step by step, or else you can mess up the entire game. If you end up screwing the game up (no worries if you do    ), delete the messed up game and redownload it from online. Some Game Tips

How Your Health Is Shown




You are able to change the view of your health. The default view of your health is shown as a counter. By clicking anywhere on "Health" or by clicking the counter, the view of your health will change from the counter view to numbers. If you want to switch back to the counter view, simply click it again. When you touch a Breath of Life object, the view of your health will be saved.

Avoiding Things

It can be annoying trying to dodge other blobs and items in the game. Simply, hold down the "x" key on your keyboard, and you will pass write through the blobs and items instead of activating them.
