What are your opinions on the advert thread?

You see, I do not know when the Scratch 2.0 website is coming out, but I want to make sure that when The Games Archive 2 comes out, it is as good as possible. If it is not for another year or so, then it would still be cool to try out your ideas for a short while, and see how each go.

If the scratch team decide to make their own official one, then I hope they let me be in charge of it somehow- but I'm saying that just encase they make their own.

So, what's good about it? What's wrong with it? How could making projects stand out be improved? Like the new code system?

Important

I need to know! Otherwise other threads will steal the views, and the Games Archive obviously can't work if less scratchers are viewing it! I'm not in competition with anyone, the only reason I am saying this is because if people view the other threads, YOUR projects won't be viewed. It's YOUR projects that won't see the benefits. Please advertise my advert thread, all you need is to put it into your signature, and imagine that! All your projects, plus your friends projects could be viewed under one link in your signature, instead of advertising say only one or two of your own at any one time.

Re: What are your opinions on the advert thread?

what browser are u using? it works for me on chrome and explorer.

It's ctrl + f for the "find" search box
then you copy + paste the code in to it
then it'll say showing x/y results, so y is the total number of codes it has found, x is the one it is showing ons screen. You keep pressing the up/doan arrows till you find the right code

Re: What are your opinions on the advert thread?

Oh and also I have a suggestion:

Instead of it all being a clump together, Make quote boxes like this:

Games
1.cool game
2.even cooler game
3.best game in the world

like that,
Also, you can take away the projects of the week hiring thing because I am not hiring at the moment.

Re: What are your opinions on the advert thread?

Maybe once in a while you go through and check your advert thread and check all the projects to see if any of them were deleted or taken of the website, you should take those off.

Re: What are your opinions on the advert thread?

I check most things but not ALL things! Tonight I promise to have a full-check where I check all 150+ projects, and contests, plus add quote boxes and such. Just don't expect it to be finished any time soon.

Hey, you know what you could have. You could have a quote of the day. You can just look at my sig. You don't have to give me credit and I prefer you not because then people will think that I am taking over the Gaming Archive.

Re: What are your opinions on the advert thread?

hey, you know, i regretted choosing not to work for you. Are you still accepting my working for you?
My thread is getting NO views, NO comments, and i still believe that it would be a good addition to your thread. so, what do you say?

Here it is, if you forgot.

well, there's only I couple jobs I have for you.

1.Cleaner- reports any broken links for me to delete, also checks for duplicate links
2.Advertising Manager- makes a signature or finds other ways to help advertise

Wages
Name+Link on top of the advert thread, leading to more fame hopefully

Sorry, but I'm not too sure whether it would be worth advertising your thread. Don't forget that when I started, I could barely get a couple projects. I had to keep searching tags and adding people's projects without telling them, I remember there were 30+ I added without asking anyone. So if you still think there is hope, I will respect your decision, and advertise it for you. I would recommend you joining my thread completely, and closing yours because for yours to work it HAS to get more projects frequently, whereas New Scratchers can still view any projects on my thread from around 3 months ago! I could add a little "New Projects" section, so any new projects are added there, then once it gets full they are added to the main thread, so it would be exactly like yours, but instead of them being deleted forever. they are added to the archives. You'll have your name in the credits, and it will be like keeping the Scratch Bulletin still but on the Games Archive instead.

i guess i'd like to remain independent then, but thank you for considering my idea.
