If Nintendo stated that Dragon Ball Z could be included, then I would add Goku to this list. But they never said any such thing. All these characters have reasoning behind them.

(I didn't put that as a character, plus its from a kirby game so it does have reasoning.)

i was sure you did
and the fact that hes in a kirby game is no good reason at all
that would enable me to reasonably put every single kirby character ever into super smash bros as fighters

No, prince fluff has been as an assist trophy this entire time.
I hope you don't mind me asking- why are you continuously posting just to pick apart my ideas? If you don't like this roster, don't keep replying here. Maybe instead of just saying you don't like mine, you can come up with your own and we can have a friendlier discussion.

I think that they are all good ideas.
Perhaps though,, for the pokemon trainers, instead of having 4 you could have a single one and you could change its region by either: changing its colour or clicking its picture like with zelda/sheik.
You might also be able to do the same as above with kirby ^^^
I hardly think that 3 sonic characters is an overload, and i'm sure sonic fans would appreciate it. Tails has been in a fighting game called sonic fighters.
I think that certain people who have posted on this topic should cool it because they are just ideas and have a small chance of being looked at by nintendo. You don't have to hate on them and if you are, then read the post properly because prince fluff is an assist trophy not a character.
