Scratch

Hi Scratch Team,

I would like to become a curator. Now everyone is saying there's is different then everybody else's but I am not going to say that, mine is not different then everybody else's.  I am really not in it for the fame, I am in it because I think it will be a fun experience for me. My theme would be animations, and my backup plan would be simple games. Also, all of the projects I curate would be under 100 views. Thanks for taking the time to read this. It would be a pleasure to be curator.

I've proven that I'm reponsible in SDS curating, commenting and general interactions. But being a curator is more about the projects, and less about the curator, so I'd like to explain what kind of projects I would curate.

I know that making games can be fairly hard. With that being said, new scratchers often have a hard time getting feedback on how to improve their projects because they aren't well known.Sometimes when they don't get attention they even start posting disturbing things. But when you showcase their work and give them pride in their work, they are more likely to get something out of Scratch and maybe even come back to give back to the community. So, if I were a curator, I would pick well made projects that have room for improvement but are interesting/fun.

I would pick one's that have small amounts of looks and I love OSes and I come from england and have been on scratch since 4/1/12

hi,im a big sonic fan finishing a game right now,but after im done, ill do other stuff too. i would love to be a curator, and i also want to get out there. this will help me reach my goals,and i also promise to do a good job. (im mostly a game maker, but i can do and will do other stuff later)

i will also pick projects with low views,and help people reach the glory they deserve.i will also help people who have trouble.

LOL like it xD But im afraid you'll need a bit more than that...and they have already scheduled who's going to be after me

i like projects that are amusing in any way, any thing that has cool music our scripting, projects with awesome animation, and projects warrior related! I also would like some of the projects that people worked REALLY hard on yet don't get seen to finally get their respects! please pick me to be a curator!

Hmm... A curator seems like a big responsibility. I have now been on Scratch for I think about two years now. I was around when the curating began (Though I did not have an account). Since then I have wanted to be a curator, though that doesn't sound much different then the other one-thousand applicants. I realize that the Scratch Team want's a curator that will choose projects the community would appreciate. I believe that right now people want good animations, and games based on what I have seen. I will not choose projects now, but rather stage a contest where people can enter their animations, and I might choose them. I don't know if this is the way the Scratch Team would like me to do it. And I can change the way I select projects. There would be rules to entering the contest, like, you must have had an account for a month, the projects must have less than 100 views, etc. Now let's get to the checklist.

I believe that I check out. Also, I have been curated. So I know how I would want it done. A few examples of what I would curate would be nice. So here is one Rocket Racer. It has more views than I would like, but it servers an example as to the type. It shows creativity, and while the sprites may not be as good as some, the programming is well assembled, and this is not a 10 second project, it is something that must have taken quite a while. I don't need to plan ahead for projects, as people always bring projects to curators, and I can use the show and tell as a backup plan. The Scratch Team wants a wide variety of Scratchers. They want gamers, storytellers, animators, boys, and girls. I post projects often, help out the community, and try to be an important  and great member in the community.

A note to the Scratch Team. I have been checking the thread daily, and have been reposting every month for a year. But to what avail?
