Well, I'm attempting to make my very own Cydia apps. My only (Yes, I'm pretty sure only) problem, is that I can't figure out how to make a deb. I tried ideb, and tried it with WinSCP, but I just can't get it to work. If I can give someone a zip with the files I need, could someone turn it into a deb for me? If I can get that, I can upload it and everything.

Urm, a .deb is an Ubuntu file and they're often a lot more versatile

Jailbroken iDevices use them too.
@elfin8er If you manage to get it working, I might try it since my iPod is jailbroken.

VirtualBox with ubuntu or debian is the best option

You can install it with Installous. Trust me, it is VERY slow and crashes a lot.

You would need an Apple A4/A5 ARM toolchain to compile the apps...which is only technically available through Apple. Look up ARM cross-compiler.

You sure about that? I've seen TONS of other ways to do it, just none of them work. Could I give someone my files to look over, and make sure I'm doing everything correctly?
