the story was good
multi-player is the same old, but at least they have some odd modes

I think the multiplayer is good and I love the new survival mode, but the campain gets repetitive very quickly and if you don't have live then it is not worth the money. (unless you can brag that you've got it, but now everyone has it anyway)

AKA veggieman, earthboundjeff, and videogame9.
They were all discussing it, apart from maybe EBJ. And they'll be more likely to listen to you if you don't shout it at them in an all caps rage...

It's really epic on a grand scale. While it has some truly exhilarating moments, such as the plane crash, but I liked Black Op's story a bit more. Not a lot more, mind you, the concept of World War 3 is really entertaining.

If you liked BlOps, they're coming out with a sequel.
While MW2 was decent, I never really picked up MW3.
Too much emphasis has been put on multiplayer.
Story>Multiplayer
ATVR: Please no all caps raging at people. Just because two posts are off topic doesn't mean that the whole topic is going to go plooie. Yelling just further derails the topic. If you look at any other thread, you'll see that only about 65% is on topic. Let's just say we here in the TIRaR forum are easily distracted.

Yeah, singleplayer is always nice, multiplayer is just for the elite players, and I heard that a while ago a drink company was giving out codes for double xp gain on their drinks, it made it very unbalanced.
it was mountain dew. BTW mountain dew is awesome.

The only ESRB (or PAL, depending on your country) ratings that anyone listens to is AO (which is not legally allowed to be ignored).

ATVR9999, Im going to stay on topic. I came to this forum because I wanted to know what others thought of the new MW3 DLC maps. I think Foundation is really good, Sanctuary is a fairly good map. However, Black Box seems to be a camper/sniper fest and Overwatch... I had really high hopes for this map. Fighting on two stories on a skyscraper? Sound epic. They even included the crane from MW2, which was a nice touch. But it just turns into people camping on the crane and running round the centre with shotguns. Visually it looks nice. But it is another map which doesn't seem to favour strategic play over spraying and praying. I kind of wanted to know what other people thought.

Exactly. That's what I was saying, and then ATVR9999 called me a "noob at life".
