I was thinking of event ideas:
Build contest:
Players are given creative mode on a new temp map and are given plots of a certain size each. They must then build a mansion in a certain style (some blocks will be disallowed) and the first prize will be the winners build moved over to the permenant map and used to live in. The second prize will be 1000$ and the third prize 500$.
PvP arena:
Using chestshop players will gear up and use the stadium area to fight, last player standing's team will recieve 1000$ to split between them, might be able to split people into groups (you'd get to choose with whom you want to be, of course) and have seperate fights.
Build #2:
Players must create a working factory for processing animals into cooked meat and farms into wheat to create a complicated system for getting food quickly. (might wait until 1.2, as mob spawning will be more controlled then)

All I need is to clean up these inappropriate pony pics and sweep them into one neat folder so soup can start accessing the server and putting it up whenever it goes down, but that can wait until it goes down a lot.

The first post, look there for all the info.
You're connected anyway, this is the permenant map, seeming nobody wanted to play on the new map.
