Time spent on project

Does Scratch have a way of telling you how long you have worked on a project?

Re: Time spent on project

No.  That's one thing I try to keep track of myself and add to the project notes.

That said, Scratch does keep an internal history of a project and you may be able to infer the amount of time from that.  However, this data is not externally visible and probably not very accurate as it wouldn't account for bathroom breaks, etc.

Do you have any idea how to see that?

You'd have to get your hands dirty in the code, but you'd probably be able to find it in the Scratch folder in Applications.

Be careful to not change anything in that folder, though.

Re: Time spent on project

The scratch team has tools to see it.  Perhaps you can ask them to give you a list of what's in there for a specific project file.

Just shift-click the File menu and click "save project summary"  tongue
It's got all sorts of info including save times...
