How to bring back the comment block?

Does anyone know how to code the comment block back into Scratch (or in my case, BYOB)?

I made a block that can report the comment block, but how can I use it as an actual block in a script?

Re: How to bring back the comment block?

I know this isn't really an answer to the question, but why do you want to bring back the comment block? It seems like just another block which doesn't fulfill a purpose: the Scratch team removed it and replaced it with a more versatile and user-friendly comment system. Why not just use that?

You could just use the new comment boxes...
The old comment blocks are slightly dated and don't really fulfil a purpose...

I don't see an obsolete block-spec called "comment".
